The basic idea for all
Tamiya Mini Racing is fun but there must be rules to ensure that we
are all on the same playing field.

The chassis must be
of Tamiya make M03 or M05
-
No Ball Diffs to be
fitted
-
All Chassis's may be
fully ball raced
-
The STANDARD kit
gearing must be run 20 tooth pinion and standard kit plastic
internals
-
The Gear Diff may be
adjusted but must not have a spool action
(when motor is locked
there must be a differential action)

Motor is kit standard
silver can mabuchi motor with silver end marked RS540
(there are
similar markings on black end motors however these are illegal)
-
Batteries are limited
to 2300mah NiMh or NiCD only (no exception)
they must also be
commercially produced stick packs NO SELF BUILT BATTERYS

Batteries may have
there connectors replaced with high power connectors such as Deans
-
All Chassis with
Reverse must have an R Sticker on the rear window or rear section of
roof to prevent unnecessary Marshalling (white sticker with black R)

Shocks may be
substituted for Oil Filled Shocks

Ride Height may be no
lower then 5mm (during cornering the shell shouldn’t touch the
track surface)

Any commercially
available hop ups are allowed (Bar ball diffs and speed tuned gear
sets)

Tyres must be of
Tamiya originality, (Kit stock, M Grips and S Grips) slicks are not
allowed

Inserts should also
be of Tamiya originality (Black or Blue)

No Tyre Additive
-
Any Electronic Speed
Controllers may be used

Any Radio gear and
servos are allowed
-
Cars must be prepared
so that there are no sharp edges including body clips!

Bodyshells must be
commercially available and no additional wings should be used unless
included with the body (i.e Fiat 500, Suzuki Swift)

Bodyshells must be
painted (No Ghost Shells)
-
Minimum 1250g Weight
including Transponder.
