Tamiya M03 Chassis

Originally introduced by the club as a low cost feeder class for new comers to our sport, the Tamiya M Chassis class has proven as equally popular with experienced racers looking for some serious fun, and some incredibly close racing from similarly prepared cars. The regulations carefully limit the performance of the cars, yet allow plenty of opportunities for competitors to modify or “hop up” as they wish.

  • Tamiya M03 Chassis – all variants including Type R.
  • Johnson or Mabuchi Silver Can 540 Motor.
  • Kit supplied gear ratio only – 20t pinion.
  • 2000 mAh (max) Sub C Commercially manufactured Battery Pack.
  • Tamiya D60 Radial Tyre – any variant.
  • 1250g Minimum Weight limit.
  • 5.0mm Minimum Ride Height.
  • Any M03 Specific Lexan Body Shell.
  • Gear Differential only.

With grids in excess of 10, on our flowing 15mx15m track, close racing is almost guaranteed.
