About LBMCC

Originally called Leighton Off Road Model Car Club, the gradual (and temporary) demise of 1/10th EP Off Road racing and the migration of members to 1/10th scale Touring Cars, together with the loss of our Off Road track to developers, Leighton Buzzard Model Car Club – as we are now called – established itself at our current venue of Brooklands School in Leighton Buzzard. Racing on Primafelt GT Carpet, operating the latest version of AMBrc Timing equipment, LBMCC offers competitors 3 classes of racing:

  • 10th Scale EP Touring Cars
  • Tamiya M Chassis FWD
  • Tamia TT-01 Touring Cars

Regular club meetings are held every Tuesday evening, catering for the above three classes, Touring Car, Tamiya Mini and Tamiya TT-01. The doors open at 6.00pm, and booking in commences at 6.45pm. Open practice from 7:00pm, variable times for each class. Racing begins 7:35pm and we aim to finish at 9:45pm. We hold a number of race series each year, details of which can be accessed from the Calendar . Additional Sunday meetings are held throughout the year. Dates and times are announced as and when meetings are confirmed.
